Some matters at the Georgia General Assembly are hard. Some are complicated. But, one of the most “controversial” issues facing our legislature this year might be the simplest ever taken up. It recognizes a simple, self-evident reality. A reality recognized throughout human history. A reality affirmed by science. A reality intuitively understood by even the youngest of children. A reality that the 1990 Arnold Schwarzenegger cinematic classic Kindergarten Cop took just six words to explain. There are two genders. They are male and female. They are distinct. And, the fundamental differences between those genders mean that males should not have access to female sports teams, locker rooms, or bathrooms. Duh, right? Unfortunately, today’s political climate means the media, the radical left, and the organized, well-funded, adult-centered gender ideology movement will have their knives out. They want their psychosis affirmed and imposed on children. And, they want to erase the rights of our girls. This is the year our state finally enacts legislation to protect our girls sports. Your support allows us to:
It really should not be difficult. Young women across the country are seeing brave ladies like Riley Gaines and Paula Scanlan speak up, and they are taking action. Many are choosing to sit out competitions in protest of males playing against them. While we applaud their bravery, we should be ashamed that the adults - the people in power - continue to sit on their hands. No more. In the State of Georgia, we will send a signal - loud and clear - that we will protect our girls. We will stand for truth, for fairness, and for what is right. Now is the time to take action.
