On Wednesday, the nominee met with U.S. Senator Katie Britt for a constructive meeting and earned her full support.
“We had a thorough and direct conversation today about a number of important issues,” Britt said.
“He stressed that he believes in following sound science and good research, empowering Americans to make informed decisions rather than the government imposing mandates. We also discussed protecting life and advancing an agenda that helps women, children, and families thrive. I was encouraged by his firm commitment to restoring the pro-life policies that President Trump implemented during his first term.” | | | Sen. Katie Britt: ‘A nation without borders is not a nation at all’ | U.S. Senator Katie Britt is urging elected officials from across the country to take the opportunity following Donald Trump’s historic victory in the 2024 Presidential Election to once again secure the Southern border. On Tuesday, Britt sat down for an interview with the 13th & Park podcast to discuss the renewed need to defend America from the effects of illegal immigration brought on by open borders.
“We are clearly a nation of immigrants. We are also a nation of laws,” said Britt. “And the lawlessness has affected every community, every corner of our nation. It’s time to regain that stability and security that we as Americans maybe at some point took for granted, but now understand how important it is…a nation without borders is not a nation at all.”
Britt noted the detrimental issues brought on by the endless flow of undocumented individuals and emphasized the importance of having the proper resources available to lock down the area. | | | Britt secures critical improvements to Alabama’s water infrastructure | U.S. Senator Katie Britt is touting the passage of legislation that will help upgrade and restore vital water infrastructure throughout the state of Alabama.
The bill, the Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) of 2024, will authorize the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Civil Works Program for projects to make several improvements to the Wilson, Coffeeville, and Demopolis lock and dams.
“Alabama’s inland water infrastructure is essential to Alabama’s economy and national security—moving feedstock, steel, energy products, components of the arsenal of America, and more,” said Britt. “The 2024 WRDA bill authorizes the construction of new, critical locks at the Coffeeville and Demopolis Lock and Dams and pushes the Secretary of the Army Corps to provide critical assistance to improve navigation at the Wilson Lock and Dam. This targeted, modernized investment in water infrastructure strengthens our state’s future.” | | | | Katie Britt Holiday Truck White Coffee Mug | Claim your EXCLUSIVE Christmas coffee mug to show your Yellowhammer State Christmas spirit! | | | Follow Katie On Social Media: | SIGN UP FOR SMS ALERTS: TEXT "KATIE" TO 27488 | By texting KATIE, you consent to join a recurring SMS/MMS text messaging program that will provide alerts, donation requests, updates, and other important information.
