We know you’re likely winding down for the holidays, so we’ll keep this brief (we promise, just 60 seconds). Here’s where things stand:

The election results weren’t what any of us had hoped for, and we understand you’re probably feeling drained and frustrated.

Ultimately, the final vote count shows Trump won less than 50 percent of the popular vote with the narrowest victory margin in decades.

Millions of people voted against him and his allies. There are millions of us — across the country — who won’t stand idly by and let Trump and a Republican-controlled Congress do whatever they want.

IWe can — and will — fight back against Trump and his allies’ Project 2025 agenda. But to do that, we’ll need a strong, organized Democratic Party leading the way. The Democratic National Committee is the organization best positioned to move resources to the places they’re needed most in 2025, 2026, and beyond as we work to elect the Democrats who will be a check on Trump’s power.
