Here's what we know.

Virginians will go to the polls on January 7, 2025, for three special elections to fill vacancies in Senate District 32 (Loudoun County), House of Delegates District 26 (Loudoun County), and Senate District 10 (Central Virginia).

The outcome of these special elections will be relevant to Democrats nationwide. The results will show, several months after Trump's election, whether everyday Americans are recognizing they've been conned again by the MAGA machine.

Team, all eyes will be on Virginia and our statewide and General Assembly elections.

With an open governor's seat after 3.5 years of MAGA control and razor-thin majorities for Democrats in the House of Delegates and the Senate, how Virginia votes in 2025 will be a referendum on Trump's presidency, extremist MAGA candidates up and down the ballot — and yes, the strength of the Democratic party.

Virginia's elections next year can propel Democrats nationally into a commanding position. Victories across our Commonwealth in 2025 can generate the momentum Democrats everywhere need to win in 2026 — and beyond.

We can only do this with you, team. It's going to take a lot of work and resources. At DPVA, we're ready, willing, and able to take on this task — but we must know you're with us.
