AVFCA Lawyers Continue to Fight for
Religious Exemptions and Titer Testing
for School Vaccine Requirements...
Both of the Lawsuits A Voice for Choice Advocacy is supporting that would chip away at SB 277 and California's school vaccine requirements, are advancing. In both the State of California lawyers filed a Motion to Dismiss or Demurrer, and in both the judges ruled to sustain the Motion to Dismiss/Demurrer, but with Leave to Amend. In both cases the judges wrote opinions which clearly outlined what needed to be "fixed" for our cases to move forward. Our lawyers are working tirelessly and filed a Second Amended Complaint in our Religious Exemption case and will file a Second Amended Complaint in the Titer Testing case in the next few weeks. These are two of the most important lawsuits in California today, as they have the greatest chance of bringing back the ability for children to attend school without being fully vaccinated. No matter what the Trump administration and RFK Jr do to Make America Healthy Again, it will take lawsuits like these to get our constitutional rights back in California.

Lawsuits take time and are very expensive. AVFCA's legal team is prepared to take these cases all the way to the Supreme Court. While AVFCA's legal team generously charges us a discounted hourly rate, this lawsuit will require hundreds of hours of their time and will likely cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. Thus far these cases have cost over $110,000, and we have a long way to go! AVFCA has taken on paying for this lawsuit because of our passion for Health Rights and Medical Freedom, as well as our desire to ensure Religious Rights when it comes to vaccine mandates.
