Abortion protected: Arizona, Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Washington

Thanks to Arizona voters, abortion rights are now enshrined in the state constitution — one of seven states that voted to protect abortion rights this November. And in North Dakota, a judge struck down the state's abortion ban — an important victory in a historically red state. 

But, despite these big steps forward, John, there's clearly still a lot of work to be done.

We know extremist Republicans are going to do everything in their power to ban abortion nationwide — especially with Trump in the White House.
