When I know I'm going to get good news and bad news together, I always want to hear the bad news first. So I'll start with this: The 2024 election cycle was tough. We did not see the results we wanted at the top of the ticket, and Democrats will be fighting hard in 2026 and 2028 to regain control in Congress. Our goal to elect women who will restore our rights is urgent.
Here's the good news: This is what EMILYs List was built for. This team has weathered tough losses before, and we’ve got what it takes to fight back against anti-choice extremism everywhere. I know the struggle for fundamental rights is demoralizing and exhausting. Republicans are hoping the pro-choice majority is too dejected and too tired to fight back.
