We didn’t plan to send a message your way today given that it’s New Year’s Eve.

But the reason we’re reaching out anyway is because, frankly, we’re behind on our goals and we are just hours away from the close of our final FEC fundraising deadline of the year.

The good news is that a few hours is more than enough time to beat our goal.

In fact, based on our math only a few hundred more people would need to make a contribution for us to cross the finish line. That’s less than 1% of the people reading this email, and less than 0.1% of the people who make up this movement.

And if we did beat our goals, we would be able to send a serious message to the far-right mega-donors and the Republican Super PACs that this grassroots team has the support and the resources to go up against Trump in his second term and invest in the candidates who will fight back.

So, we have to ask:

Will you make a contribution today and help power our efforts to support changemaking candidates around the country? Do it before we are legally required to report our fundraising numbers to the FEC tomorrow.
