Hi John — As 2024 comes to a close, I wanted to take some time to reach out and express my appreciation for you.
The support you’ve shown me this past year means the world. While we’ve had our fair share of challenges this year, I’m so grateful that folks like you continue to stand with me and support my work of serving Vermonters in Congress.
I also want to acknowledge how tough this election year was. Donald Trump will return to the White House for his second term in just a few weeks — and John, people are scared. They’re hurting. And they’re worried about what the future holds for them and their families.
I spoke to a mom recently who came up to me and asked if we could survive four more years of Trump. I hear this concern from Vermonters all the time — and trust me, I get it.
People have a right to feel that way, but we cannot let our fear rule us.
That’s why I will continue to approach my work with joy and a clarity of purpose. I have all the confidence in the world that we will navigate through this tough time and continue to make progress for working families.
Politics is about making a difference in the lives of regular people — and that work stays the same regardless of who sits in the Oval Office. I will continue to do everything I can to make Vermont proud. I hope you’ll join me, John.
Can I count on you to chip in a donation before our final end-of-year fundraising goal at midnight? Your support will help me continue to address some of our most pressing issues like our housing crisis and defending democracy.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
When we stand together, I know we will make it through this dark time.
Thank you, John.
Onward,
Becca Balint
