Hope your New Year's celebration is off to a good start. We’re still at the campaign office but hope to leave soon.

Why? Ron DeSantis has decided upon an election date of April 1st for our special election to ensure that any viable Democratic challenger (our campaign) has the least amount of time possible to fundraise and organize in this district.

We refuse to let DeSantis determine the outcome of this race, which is why we set a goal of raising $25,000 before the ball drops tonight. Here’s where we stand now:

I promise you that I am not being facetious here when I tell you that this is the most important End of Quarter message you will get all day. If we lose the critical first race of 2025 because we didn’t raise enough, it will be an unhappy new year for our Democracy.

Instead, let’s make 2025 the year we pushed back against MAGA.
