Last year, we worked through 12 lawsuits to defend civil rights and liberties for incarcerated Alaskans, LGBTQIA2S+ Alaskans, Alaskans experiencing homelessness, students, and others. We advocated for legislation and policies in Juneau to make our communities safer and more just. We hired new staff to expand our impact further across the state. We've got a lot of work ahead of us as we head into 2025 – people across the country and in Alaska will face unprecedented civil rights challenges. However, we are ready.
