Hi John,
It’s almost hard to believe that after hundreds of updates, this will be my final update to all of you. I always say that representation begins with listening, and your diverse and respectful voices represent the very best of America. If you have contacted my offices to share an idea, express concerns, or ask questions, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I've learned a great deal from all of you, and for that, I am eternally grateful. You have made this the most joyful job I've ever had, and I know my successor, Representative-elect Kelly Morrison, will serve you with invitation, integrity, and fortitude – because you will demand it, and all Americans deserve it.
My team and I have accomplished a lot during our time together, much of which would not have been possible without all of you. From legislative wins, to finding common ground, going "On the Job", and listening and learning in every corner of our community, we did it all with invitation and optimism leading the way. I invite you to watch a highlight reel of the work we've done and the gratitude I feel for all of you:
It has been a wonderful six years, and I want to thank you again for sharing your ideas, expressing concerns, and asking insightful questions. Thanks as always for reading. Remember, the future is very bright, as long as we have the courage and make the choice to seek it.
