Hi John — It’s Lexi, Adam’s daughter.

Tomorrow, my dad will be sworn in to a full term as California’s next U.S. Senator. It’s an incredibly proud moment for our family, and I know how much this milestone means to him.

My dad has spent his entire career fighting for the values we all care about: lowering the cost of housing and childcare, strengthening Social Security and Medicare, protecting clean air and water, restoring reproductive rights, and so much more.

But if we’re being honest — it hasn’t been easy. He’s faced a lot of false attacks, smears, and name-calling from Republican leaders. That never stops him from doing his work, but it definitely worries me and my family. Luckily, we have this incredible team supporting him and his work — you make it all so worthwhile.

Now, as my dad prepares to take the oath of office, I know he’s ready to take these fights to the Senate and succeed, delivering for the people of California and the country.

From the start, it’s been the support of people like you that keeps him going. Your commitment to this movement has meant the world to our family, and I want to make sure my dad feels that support as he steps into this new role.
