Hi there,
Happy New Year from all of us at Greater Greater Washington! I'm happy to report that you are stuck with me for another season of these updates. With seriousness, I am grateful to work with these class-act people doing this important work. Now that the holidays are coming to a close, it's time to roll up our sleeves, put on our work pants, and look forward to the year ahead.
One way you can do that is with a reception [[link removed]] that is being held in lieu of the regular DC Transportation Camp, in Navy Yard this weekend. That's this Saturday, January 4th, so be sure to register [[link removed]] for it by tomorrow!
Also, join our own Dan Reed and Alex Baca for a webinar [[link removed]] next Wednesday called One Region, Many Paths: Exploring Health and Equity Across Transportation Policy and Advocacy .
You'll find more details below. Stay tuned for more events to come! We are just getting started.

Saturday, January 4, 5:00pm-8:00pm
WeWork , 80 M St SE, 1st Floor. Washington, DC [[link removed]]
Join ELY Public Affairs, Transportation for America, Greater Greater Washington, and others for an evening reception of conversation, hors d’oeuvres, and connection to celebrate a year of transportation advocacy and progress on January 4, 2025. Whether to celebrate new beginnings or simply share good company, we’re thrilled to host you at this at this special gathering being held instead of this year's Transportation Camp.
What can you expect?
* Connecting with friends and colleagues: Some of us haven’t seen each other in a year, so this is our chance to engage with friends, thought leaders, and innovators who are reshaping transportation policy.
* Mission-oriented networking opportunities: The new year will bring new jobs for many. This is your opportunity to connect with prospective employers or employees, as well as like-minded professionals, advocates, and policymakers.
* Get set for 2025: Learn about the initiatives and opportunities being planned for the next year.
Space is limited. Please RSVP by January 3, 2025
