I am deeply honored to serve Californians in the U.S. Senate, having now
been sworn in for a full six-year term. From the towering redwoods of the
North to the fertile farmlands of the Central Valley, from the
breathtaking beaches and deserts of the South to every community – large
and small – in between, California is a big state with bold dreams.

To make those dreams a reality, we must work together to ensure every
Californian has an opportunity to succeed. That means building more
housing and lowering the cost of living, creating an economy that works
for everyone, and tackling the climate crisis to protect our planet for
generations to come.

And none of this is possible without a strong democracy. That’s why I am
committed to defending the right to vote, safeguarding our democratic
institutions, and ensuring every voice is heard. Democracy is the
foundation upon which all our progress has been built.

In the months and years ahead, I will travel across our great state,
listening to your stories, learning from your experiences, and working
with you to address the challenges we face. Together, we can build a
future that reflects the diversity, resilience, and spirit of California.

I am profoundly hopeful and more determined than ever to deliver for the
Golden State. Serving as your Senator is the honor of a lifetime.
