I hope you had a wonderful holiday season! Last week I was sworn in to the 119th Congress, and I am deeply humbled by the opportunity to continue the essential work that lies ahead.

Our path back to Congress was filled with some obstacles, but through sheer determination and a steadfast commitment to our core values, we achieved a hard-fought victory. I am thrilled to keep pushing forward, focused on recovery, enhancing opportunities, and ensuring the health and safety of every member of our community.

As we step into the 119th Congress, I'm ready to dive headfirst into fighting for the values we all hold dear — because giving up is not an option. People nationwide are counting on Congress to provide tangible results that improve family lives, rather than tearing apart the foundational fabric of our democracy.

I understand the apprehensions surrounding the incoming Trump Administration and a GOP majority, but I assure you, I will be here to uphold our values and protect the outcomes of a just and fair democratic process.
