Do you care about DSA-LA's work to fight for tenants' rights, climate justice, and worker power? Or about popularizing socialist political thought and mutual aid in our communities? Or how we endorse and elect socialists to political office? Then you care about our DSA-LA Subgroup Leadership Elections, happening now! This election will determine the new leads for some of the most pivotal work we do as an organization in our many subgroups, including committees and campaign working groups.  

Candidates have been announced for each group (view them all here), and before the election launches, we are hosting a forum on Wednesday, Jan. 8 on Zoom to get to know the comrades running and to learn about their visions for their subgroup's work. Join and participate in DSA-LA's democratic process!

Candidates will be available to answer questions from members about their committee work and their vision for the chapter in 2025. The Nominations Committee is also collecting questions in advance if you would like to email us at [email protected].
