Instead of taking bold action to defend our democracy from Donald Trump and his MAGA administration, lame-duck President Biden is using his remaining time in office to give Israel’s government more weapons to carry out its genocide against Palestinians.

The additional $8 billion in weapons transfers would include the same types of munitions used to kill 90 and injure 300 Palestinian civilians living in tents in what they were told was a safe zone.

At this point, the United Nations, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, Doctors Without Borders, the International Criminal Court, genocide scholars, multiple world leaders, and other organizations have concluded that Israel is committing genocide and ethnic cleansing in Gaza.

The Israeli military is targeting civilians, kidnapping doctors, letting babies freeze to death, and starving millions of people.

But that hasn’t stopped Biden and the U.S. government from supplying Nethanyahu with the resources to carry out this violence. It will be his legacy.
