Team — when I think about what motivates me to get up every morning, I always come back to my family and the values they instilled in me.

My grandfather, Bill, was a B-24 bomber pilot in World War II. He flew missions over occupied France and, after being shot down, was rescued by the Free French. Hearing his stories as a kid sparked my dream to serve my country and fly, just like him.

That dream eventually led me to the Navy, where I became a helicopter pilot and learned what it means to lead under pressure, to bring people together, and to never back down from a challenge.

Those lessons have stayed with me and guided my work in Congress — whether it’s fighting to cut through the partisan gridlock in Washington, defending our democracy, or delivering real solutions for New Jersey’s families.

Now, I’m ready to bring that same grit and determination to the governor’s office. New Jersey is at a pivotal moment right now, and we need bold, experienced leadership to tackle the challenges that lie ahead.
