John, it's Congressman Chuy García, and I’m excited to kick off the new year with you and everyone who's part of our community.

Last year, we accomplished so much for Illinois. From strengthening workers' rights to standing strong to defend our immigrants, we're already seeing the wins of our collective efforts.

But as the new year begins, there's still so much more to do.

That's why my priorities for the coming months are not only to build on our previous efforts, but to expand on them: protecting immigrants, preventing cuts to essential programs like Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and the Affordable Care Act, addressing housing affordability, and defending women’s rights.

John, MAGA Republicans are ready to do what they can to eliminate the protections that so many of our communities need to thrive.

That's why I am committed to stand strong to defend our rights and continue the fight for everyone in Illinois.

But just as it took a large coalition of supporters to get me where I am today, it's going to take an even larger one to help me continue making a meaningful impact in our communities.
