Democrats and the mainstream media are still searching for answers. They are living in complete denial as to the state of America. They tried to set the agenda and tried to trick Americans into thinking everything was ok, but they were wrong, and the voters saw right through it. The victory we won in November came from the good, hardworking, God-fearing Americans who were tired of settling for second best, and who believed we could do better and be better. That's the message I delivered on the campaign trail in the little town of Chesterfield, Missouri-- "At a time when our choices will determine whether we have a country in fifty or sixty years, this is our time."
The American people delivered a mandate in November, but now the work starts. I'm rolling up my sleeves to deliver on the promise that America's best days are ahead of us, and I need you by my side. |
Transcript: I'm pretty sure that when you look back years from now and you tell the story of this time to your children your grandchildren your nieces and nephews, in a time of consequence, in a time that mattered, I took a stand for my country. In a time when our choices could shape the direction of this country for fifty and sixty years to come, ladies and gentlemen, at a time when our choices will determine whether we have a country in fifty or sixty years, this is our time. You hear people say, “oh we need more solutions in Washington, D.C.” Can I just tell you the truth? There aren't solutions in Washington, D.C. The solutions for our country are right here, right here in this room. The hope for our country is right here in this room. The salvation of our country will come from the faith, from the courage, from the boldness, from the goodness that's right here in this room. Let's stand together, let's fight together and together let's save our country. |
