Yesterday, Donald Trump was officially sentenced—he is now a felon. However, he is escaping all accountability and will be returning to the White House in just 9 days.
Our justice system does not often treat all people equally. Too often, poor and marginalized communities across the country are incriminated for crimes that the wealthy and powerful easily escape accountability for.
In addition to escaping all accountability for his actions, Trump is sending out campaign emails on the topic of his sentencing that direct to a contribution page.
Trump is continuing to build his base and we need to do the same in expanding our movement in order to fight back against his draconian policies and hatred.
Together, we must fight for the future we know we all deserve.
