Team, in North Carolina, far-right Republicans have wasted no time showing voters just how extreme they’re willing to go:

“GOP-led N.C. Supreme Court blocks finalizing election for Democratic justice” - The Washington Post

Let us explain: Democratic Justice Allison Riggs was found to be the winner of her November election by two separate recounts. But instead of respecting the will of the voters, the GOP-controlled North Carolina Supreme Court wants to give itself the sole power to determine the winner.

These Republican efforts to steal an election is a blatant attack on the rule of law — but we want to be clear: This is just a taste of the extremism to come from Republicans in Washington.

Today, many Republicans in Congress are pushing dangerous policies to dismantle the Affordable Care Act, gut Social Security, raise the cost of prescription drugs, and undermine our most fundamental freedoms — including the freedom to choose.

Brittany is going to fight tirelessly against any legislation that harms working families and tips the scales even more in favor of the wealthy and well-connected — but she can’t win that fight alone. Under a Republican-led government, we need to support leaders like Brittany more than ever before to help them stop these far-right proposals in their tracks.

That’s where you come in. Will you chip in a donation today to help Brittany fight back against the dangerous extremism that will come our way in the months ahead? We need to show Republicans that this grassroots team will not back down in the face of their radical agenda.
