Friend,

Last week, I joined President Biden at the White House as he signed the Social Security Fairness Act into law. This bill, which I proudly sponsored and helped pass into law, is a big win for millions of Americans who have earned and rely on Social Security benefits. Ohioans in particular are now set to collect hard-earned benefits. 

It means that folks who have dedicated their lives to public service — like police officers, mail carriers, firefighters, and teachers — will be able to get the Social Security benefits they've earned through years of hard work.

I'm proud of this bill, friend, and I'm proud that we passed it with strong bipartisan support. As long as I'm in Congress, I'll never stop fighting to defend Social Security.
