John, as we start the new year, I want to touch base with you.

Since my time serving in the Vermont State Senate, I’ve always been willing to work with anyone who can help alleviate suffering and solve the challenges facing working people. And in Congress, I’m working to make those same connections to get work done on your behalf.

In the 2024 election, there were tons of voters, including many here in Vermont, who didn't vote solely on party lines. Some voted both for Donald Trump and progressive Democrats like myself.

If you were a split-ticket voter, I would love to hear about what drove your decision. If you weren’t, I’m still curious to know what you think about this defining characteristic of the 2024 election.

I see this as an opportunity to reflect and understand how I can best serve the needs of every Vermonter, no matter how you voted.

In all of these towns, Vermonters split their tickets and voted to send both Trump and myself back to DC.
