I’m excited to announce that I’ve officially launched my re-election campaign to represent Massachusetts’ 6th Congressional District.

Over the years, we’ve worked together to take on the tough fights, but there’s one battle ahead that’s even more important: making sure the Democratic Party can communicate effectively and rebuild our efforts to fight for everyday Americans.

As you know, the decisive re-election of Donald Trump reminds us that our country is at a crossroads. People are frustrated with how Washington works — and rightfully so. People are also frustrated with the Democratic Party. There’s a feeling that politicians are more focused on rhetoric than actually solving the problems that matter most.

That’s why I’ve always said that we need to communicate better and fight for the issues that working Americans care about — better wages, quality healthcare, affordable housing, and a fair shot for anyone who wants it.

But here’s the reality: As I begin my campaign, I know that I’m facing the likely scenario of multiple candidates challenging me in the primary. That’s what happens when you’re fighting for change — not everyone will agree with you.

However, I believe that we can only move forward if we remain united behind the values that matter most.

That’s why I’m asking for your support right now. Together, we can make sure the message stays clear: We need a stronger, more united Democratic Party that stands unapologetically for working Americans and communicates that vision to every corner of our country.
