** New Government: A Unique Chance for Pro-Life Progress

There's every reason to be hopeful that positive pro-life change can happen during the lifetime of the new soon to be formed government.

While it's regrettable that the draft Programme lists as one of its goals ensuring that "all maternity hospitals provide equitable access to termination of pregnancy services", it's worth noting that this proposal had already been signed off on and put into effect by Minister Stephen Donnelly in the closing months of the last government.

** US Pro-Life Centre Threatened with Another Arson Attack

Last week, a pro-life counselling centre in the US was notified by federal law enforcement to take extra precautions as they are once again the target of a possible arson attack from extreme pro-abortion groups.

The pro-life centre, Compass Care, based in Buffalo New York, was previously firebombed in 2022 after the leaking of the Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v Jackson, the case that overturned the 1973 Roe v Wade ruling that legalised abortion.
