Dear John

With six weeks to go, there's still time for your church to be part of Church Action on Poverty Sunday 2025. Can you give, act and pray for an end to UK poverty with other churches across the UK on 2 March?

We'll help you use the powerful, moving 'Dreams and Realities' paintings to prompt reflection and action in your congregation. Here's an interview with the artist:

Artist Stephen Martin created nine portraits of people in his community, showing the realities they face living on the frontline of poverty - but also the dreams they would pursue if they weren't held back.

The pictures and stories are a great way to get your congregation talking about the need to end poverty - and the dreams we share of a better world.

Why not sign up to be part of Church Action on Poverty Sunday today? You can request prints or slides of the portraits to share in church, and we have lots of creative ideas for how you can respond to the images as a congregation.

Register to be part of Church Action on Poverty Sunday 2025

Thanks and best wishes
