John,When I learned that our current Mayor flew to Mar-a-Lago to meet with Donald Trump last night, my head almost exploded.

I mean, it is not surprising. Mayor Adams has been pleading for a pardon for a long time now, and is clearly willing to sell out our neighbors and our city.

Still, my head almost exploded. I thought, you know what, thank goodness I have people like John xxxxxx in my corner.

To make clear that he is putting the city’s interests over his own legal problems, Mayor Adams should state immediately that he will not seek or accept a pardon from Donald Trump. That’s what public integrity would look like.
