you seen the news about Republicans in Congress? Apparently the spending
cuts they want aren’t possible without cutting health care from the people
who need it most! 🤯
I want to make it clear where I stand: I believe that health care is a
basic, fundamental human right, not a privilege.
In the richest nation on earth, I believe we have a moral duty to
guarantee quality health care coverage for every American, and end the
disgusting practice of corporations profiting from people’s health and
well-being.
That’s why I will support any legislation that gets us closer to the goal
of universal health care coverage, and *oppose* legislation that rips
health care away from folks who already have it.
