Government Meetings   NEWS FROM AUBURN, MAINE   FIRST WINTER PARKING BAN OF 2025 The City of Auburn has issued a WINTER PARKING BAN. The ban will begin on Sunday, January 19 at 8:00PM and end at noon on Monday, January 20. Remember: To use winter relief parking, you must have a winter relief permit, which is FREE and only available at the Auburn Police Department. Failure to obtain a permit could result in towing of your vehicle and expensive fees. Note: Certain areas of the downtown are part of the "Business District Zone." Vehicles parked in this zone are exempt from parking bans until 11:00PM, however all vehicles parked in the BDZ must be removed by 11:00PM or they may be towed.
