With fewer than 100 days until Election Day, I wanted to check in and share some thoughts from the (virtual) campaign trail.

We’re living through challenging and unprecedented times. With issues like health care, education, and corruption on the ballot in November, there’s a lot at stake for the future of our state.

But as I talk with North Carolinians every day (virtually, of course), I’m inspired by the countless folks who reach out to say “I’m on your team.”

We’re in this fight because we know North Carolina deserves new leadership in Washington — and that complex issues aren’t going to solve themselves. It’s up to us to find the solutions.

So, while this is certainly a pressure-filled moment, it should also give us hope. We have an opportunity to turn things around in Washington in fewer than 100 days — to speak up for our neighbors and put the interests of our state at the center of the debates taking place on Capitol Hill.

But for us to meet this moment, I could really use your support.

As we kick off the last week of July, we’re almost at our end-of-month fundraising deadline. The amount we raise this month will help determine the campaign infrastructure we’re able to put in place before the election.

In other words, this final number matters.

Democrats only need four seats to flip the Senate, and Thom Tillis’ is one of the most vulnerable. Between now and November, we must do everything we can to win.
