John, there’s now under an hour until the first Leaders’ Debate of this election campaign.
And now, a new poll just released shows that our campaign is tracking well, with people backing our positive, future-focused plan for recovery. But we simply can’t afford to be complacent and allow any slippage. The risk is too great.
Election debates are big moments in campaigns - tonight's is expected to be watched by over a million people. What happens in this debate could have a major impact on the result on election day.
So tonight, when Jacinda takes the stage, I know our whole team will all be behind her, backing her every step of the way.
