Hi John, In just under two hours, Labour leader Jacinda Ardern will go head-to-head with National Party leader Judith Collins in the Newshub Leaders’ Debate. This is another chance for Jacinda to set out our rebuild plan for New Zealand and to show voters why it’s so important that they stick with Labour’s positive, strong and proven leadership on 17 October, and not risk the progress we've made by voting for a Party that has shown in recent weeks just how unprepared they are for Government. According to the most recent polls, Labour still maintains a lead - but our opponents have gained ground. We simply cannot afford to be complacent. Voting starts in just three days.
Tonight’s debate kicks off at 7:30 pm, and we’ll be sharing updates on our Twitter all the way through it. If you’re watching along at home, make sure to show your support on social media by using #letskeepmoving and tagging @nzlabour. Together, we can show the power of our grassroots movement and send a strong message that Jacinda and the Labour team have got our vote. Let’s keep moving! Hayden Munro, |

A short note on donations: We have a plan to keep New Zealand moving, and it’s already underway. But to keep rolling out that plan beyond October's election, Labour needs to win enough seats to be able to return to government. John, we’re proud to be a truly people-powered Party, and it’s only because of the generosity of thousands of supporters like you chipping in what you can that we’re going to be able to run a winning campaign. If you can, please click the button below to make a donation to our campaign fund today so together, we can keep New Zealand moving.
