Dear John,

With less than two weeks to go until Election Day, and with early voting now open, our campaign is shifting up a gear. We’re increasing our paid advertising, upping our efforts on the doors and phones, and growing our reach on social media.

And today, I wanted you to be the first to see the new advertisement we are launching as we enter the final stretch.

This ad is all about laying out clearly the choice in this election - do we keep moving in the right direction with a strong, stable Government led by Jacinda Ardern, or do we put on the brakes and put New Zealand’s recovery at risk? This ad shows the progress we’ve made in the fight against COVID-19, and our plan to respond, recover and rebuild our economy.

Now, the job is to get this ad in front of as many voters as possible. Can you chip in to help us get this ad in front of more people?

I’ve already allocated a budget to get this ad up on TV and social media and in front of as many people as we can afford. But if we all chip in, we can afford to reach even more people online. Together, we will be able to make sure that we’re putting our case to people just as they are deciding who to support in this election.

John, I’m so proud of the campaign that we are running together to re-elect Jacinda and the team and keep New Zealand moving. Thank you for everything you’ve done to make this a better campaign.
