There are many important statewide and local elections on the ballot this year. We need to show up and make our voices heard so that the legislature knows we are watching them. When we vote down the ballot, we can show extremist lawmakers in Baton Rouge that we are not happy with the politics they're playing with our lives. They may not be on the ballot this year, but their jobs will not be safe if they continue to spend taxpayer dollars on special sessions that don't help us.
