The latest Paycheck Protection Program data dump from the Trump Small Business Administration revealed extensive waste, abuse and mismanagement -- shameful, but not surprising. This program was mismanaged from its inception, and the Trump administration rarely shies away from corruption.

The PPP was intended to provide critical support for struggling small businesses and workers during the pandemic. But the data doesn’t lie: The program has been a colossal failure shrouded in corruption, helping Trump cronies and other wealthy and powerful people enrich themselves at the expense of taxpayers and small businesses.
