Mobilize to Stop
the War on Yemen
Since 2015, a Saudi-led coalition
has waged war on Yemen, killing tens of thousands of people and
devastating the country. An estimated 60,000 civilians have died in
airstrikes. By blockading the country’s ports and targeting civilian
infrastructure, the Saudis have deliberately caused a famine and
cholera epidemic. The U.N. calls this the largest humanitarian crisis
on Earth. Genocide Watch currently rates Yemen at Stage 9:
“Extermination.”
The war is only possible because
Western countries – and the United States in particular – continue to
arm Saudi Arabia and provide military, political, and logistical
support for the war.
This war, like all wars, is an
assault on working people, both outside and within our borders. We
must stand in solidarity with the Yemenis and against the billionaires
who are profiting off the genocide.
