More than ever, it's critical for us to remember the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Our state was home to so much of King's work for civil rights, including the Montgomery bus boycott and his "Letter from Birmingham Jail." As we celebrate Dr. King's birthday today, we commit to continue his fight for racial equity and economic justice.
