Friends,

What a quarter it's been! We endorsed candidates for the Virginia House of Delegates, supported local candidates in Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Texas, and became among the first to support one of the early attempts to flip a seat in the Texas House of Representatives in a special election. Our leadership team convened for a day of strategic planning to discuss ways we'll continue to mature the organization; we restructured our state advisory boards to empower more participation in-state; and we overhauled our website to provide information in a clearer, more concise way while expanding our social media presence.

Our team condensed a tremendous amount of work into just three months. As we look ahead, like you, we’re anxiously awaiting the November 5th elections with 15 endorsees on the ballot.

However, outside of Election Day, our fourth quarter of this year and the first quarter of 2020 will be focused on continuing to grow our network of investors and brand in the market as we seek to truly establish Ascend for the long-term. To that end, we need your help:

Help us reach our Q3 goal by donating today. And if you can’t give now, but you want to in the future, please let us know so we can include your support in our end of year planning.
Help us expand our investor network. Forward this email to a friend and/or introduce us to someone who would want to spend 30 minutes learning about Ascend’s mission! While the 2020 Presidential election is obviously critical, there's still not enough attention -- and resources -- going to the state and local levels, and you can make a huge difference by connecting us to new folks.
