1000 Friends is one of the only statewide urban forestry advocacy organizations in the state. We raise awareness about the importance of urban and community trees through tree planting projects, representing environmental organizations on the Wisconsin Urban Forestry Council, and through outreach via webinars and advocacy campaigns.
