Dear Friends,
We would like to advise everybody that all Goethe-Institut Washington team members will be away from their workspaces on Friday, April 2, and Monday, April 5.
Have you been dreaming of the day we'll all be able to travel again? Even if it isn't here just yet, make sure that you'll be prepared for your trip to Germany when the day comes! Our language department has two exciting new offerings for the spring and summer: registration is currently open for all blended-learning adult German courses beginning on April 12, as well as a summer youth language program taking place in July.
Tune in tomorrow at 2:00pm EDT for the premiere of our next installment of Counter-Memories, featuring novelist Viet Tanh Nguygen and historian Drew Faust in conversation about the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington. If you're applying for the Public Interest Design Lab fellowship we're offering in collaboration with the DC Public Library, we have extended the deadline to April 5.
In a time of virtual programming, events that celebrate Earth Day 2021 effectively stretch it out to Earth Month – check out what our colleagues at the Goethe-Institut in Boston have planned for April!
