Our 2021 Chapter Convention is fast approaching and we need your help deciding the future of our organization. This year our chapter hit the streets in defense of Black Lives, supported a victorious strike at our public hospitals, and launched a tenant organizing program. We also helped win pandemic protections for bus drivers, elected 6 DSA members into office all across the Bay, distributed thousands of high quality N85 masks to the most vulnerable, and helped lay the groundwork for California DSA. What we do next is up to all of us.



The deadline for Convention Nominations is coming up TONIGHT, Sunday April 25th at 11:59pm. Please take some time before midnight to nominate your comrades for leadership, and submit priority proposals so we can have a successful convention!















You can nominate as many candidates for as many positions as you want. All forms will close on April 25th at 11:59pm PST.

The Local Convention will take place on Saturday, May 15th, 1-4 pm and Sunday, May 16th, 1-3 pm2021 on Zoom. This is the highest decision making body for our organization.















It's important for every East Bay DSA member to take part so we can learn from the past year and meet this moment head on!

- Sunday, May 9th: - Full Convention Agenda with Resolutions and Amendments Released





- Friday, May 14th: - Deadline to submit Position Papers





- Saturday, May 15th: - Local Convention Day 1
