Good afternoon, I hope your weekend is going well
 
The kids and I just wanted to drop a quick note to say thank you to everyone who helped us hit our $9,000 grassroots fundraising goal last night.
 
Now, the “grassroots” they cared most about today were the new plants we planted together for Earth Day last weekend:

Respect for our environment has to start early. It was so great to catch up with our little sprouts -- and the new plants that we potted together last week!
 
Hitting this goal means they got to spend today trying out their new green thumbs with Dad, instead of watching me pace back and forth on the phone with the rest of the campaign team.
 
So again, I just want to say thanks for having my back at every benchmark -- and I hope you have a great rest of your weekend!
