I just finished updating our finance report to include the latest online contributions and checks that have come in.

Right now, we're still $6,280 short of our second quarter fundraising goal, with less than 36 hours to go until the FEC fundraising deadline. Grassroots contributions are starting to slow at exactly the wrong time, and I can't help but think of something Andy said earlier this month: "Apathy is the opposite of democracy."

So, I'm reaching out to you and some of our most reliable supporters to ask for help before tomorrow at midnight.

Just last week, Mitch McConnell and the Senate GOP filibustered H.R. 1, once again standing in the way of progress for the people. As Andy and our team are fighting to expand the electorate by bringing more people in, Washington Republicans are doing everything they can to shut people out.

The same corporate PACs and far-right hate groups that have propped McConnell and his cronies up for decades are coming after Andy right now. And look, we know more are coming soon.

Those dark money groups will be the first to read the next FEC report we'll file after tomorrow night's end-of-quarter deadline. National Republicans know their path to retaking the House starts with beating Andy, too, and they're betting we can't put up enough of a fight to stop them.

That's why I'm reaching out today. The GOP is counting on Democrats to grow apathetic and complacent ahead of the midterms, so they can flip NJ-03 red again and retake the House. Today, I am asking for your help to show Andy that we have his back as he advocates for a future we can be proud of in Washington.
