The veto session is happening, and it starts tomorrow. Legislators will convene to vote on overturning Governor Edwards' vetoes, including his veto of the extremely dangerous bill that would eliminate training and permit requirements for concealed carry.

This bill, SB 118, has the potential to drastically increase the risk of gun violence across the state, putting law enforcement officials and regular citizens alike in danger. The overwhelming majority of Louisianans and law enforcement leaders agree with training requirements for concealed carry. Urge legislators to stand up for the will of the people.

Contact your state legislators to urge them to uphold the veto of the permitless concealed carry bill.
