President Trump campaigned on taking our military men and women out of harm's way in places like Syria, Libya and Pakistan.
The fact that we send our nation's finest to wage endless unconstitutional wars in the Middle East is just one of the many symptoms of our broken political system.
Because of that, and the fact that our wars are not constitutional to begin with, I've voiced my support for President Trump's decision to withdraw from Syria.

In politics, we often find ourselves standing out from the crowd, and it's not always popular with everyone.
I'm glad to have a president who's willing to work against the grain, especially on an issue like sending our boys to war.
