Hi there,
We wish we had better news to share with you today, but the balance of power in the House is now even more delicate than it was yesterday. See for yourself:

Rep. Ron Kind announces retirement in boon to GOP's House hopes
Kind, who has spent nearly 25 years in the House, faced a closer-than-expected race in his sprawling rural Wisconsin seat last fall.
Kind's retirement is the opening Republicans have been looking for to cut into Democrats' razor-thin House majority. And they won't stop with Wisconsin in their quest to take over Congress.
Republicans already had their list of targets -- and at the top are the small handful of Democrats representing districts that Trump won. The fact is, Andy is now one of only FIVE Democrats running for reelection in a district Trump won -- and standing in the way of the GOP retaking the House.
We want to reiterate that point because it’s important: the number of Democrats running for re-election in a Trump district now matches the size of the Democratic House majority. Andy is one of the last five protecting that majority.
We must invest NOW in the ground game we need to win in NJ-03. That's why we're setting a goal of $4,000 raised in the next 24 hours for Andy's Ground Game fund.

With an opening like Kind's retirement from a swing district, the GOP will only intensify the rhetoric that caused the Capitol insurrection in January. We can't afford to wait to invest in the tools we need to get out the message about Andy's record of service, especially with declared opponents like Tricia Flanagan obscuring the record with racist and misleading ads.
We can't thank you enough for everything you're doing to help us keep moving forward together.
