We have just overcome a major obstacle! Just last week, the trial court dismissed my former campaign committee from the lawsuit brought by the plaintiff, Leigh Corfman, claiming that she was defamed when my staff denied her allegations of sexual misconduct as false and malicious.

You heard correctly! You can be sued for simply denying false allegations!

Of course, that is simply ridiculous, but even more ludicrous is the fact that it took the judge over two years to make a ruling. In any event the judge did say, “plaintiff's evidence fails to factually or legally establish clear and convincing proof that it’s highly probable that when defendants’ agents, employees, contractors, or volunteers published statements plaintiff alleges are defamatory that such agent, employee, contractor, or volunteer knew the statement was false or acted with reckless disregard as to whether it was false or not in the publication of any of the statements.” Simply put, a person can't sue a campaign committee for denying a false allegation against their candidate which they know or believe to be false!

And we have also been successful in having her identified as a “limited public figure” making it even more difficult for her to prove any defamation!

Thank you for your support but we are now in preparation for trial and continue to need your help to stop people like Leigh Corfman from disrupting campaigns for public office with the use of false allegations.

Our Country is in trouble and unless we reclaim truthful elections we will continue to lose our way.

We can’t stop now! Our next step is to go to court to prove her political motivation to steal an election for the United States Senate. When we are successful others will see and stop such fraudulent tactics.

Free and honest elections are the bedrock of our political system and we must stop those who would steal our rights as voters.

This case is not just about me, but about the future of our children and grandchildren.

With trial scheduled on November 1, we are actively preparing for a jury trial. In fact, we are set to question a witness who we believe played a major part in the fraud and corruption to defeat my successful campaign for the US Senate.

We not only intend to win, but also to stop others from stealing elections in this Country.
