September is Coastal Cleanup Month
Every year, we participate in Coastal Cleanup Month by doing a brand audit with Break Free From Plastic or joining a local Surfrider cleanup. This year, with the pandemic still in our midst, we got philosophical and asked the question: will there ever be a final cleanup where cleaning up plastic from our environment is no longer necessary? If so, when? And how can we get there? Below are some ways to continue living sustainably, consciously, and equitably.

- prAna's Responsible Packaging Movement recently celebrated one year of sustainable packaging! Congrats prAna and all 80+ brands who have signed on so far.
- Starting in Q2 of 2022, Klean Kanteen's product will be made with certified 90% post-consumer recycled steel with the goal of having 95% of products made from certified recycled stainless steel by 2023. Amazing!
- Liquid Death launched a limited edition skateboard with Tony Hawk painted with his blood which ensued an online rivalry with Lil Nas X. We're just glad that they're supporting Death to Plastic.
